Steel strapping is rarely used in normal industrial applications. On occasions it is used if the product being strapped has sharp edges and so would cut through normal extruded polypropylene and polyester strapping. In addition, if an extraordinary piece of heavy equipment needs to be secured steel strapping can be used. This is because it is available up to 32mm wide and with a breaking strain of over 2000 kilos. Please visit our page for Strapping Tools.
