Polyester ( PET ) strapping was designed to be used in place of steel because it is safer to use. Polyester strapping is primarily used for applications in which polypropylene strapping is not strong enough to secure a heavy load. The strapping width starts at 12.5mm and goes up to 19mm. It is also available in various thicknesses which can increase the breaking strain up to 760 kilos. In our experience, this strapping will cover most applications of load retention.
